U R Penetrators are:
Jimi LoopholeLizzie
Tommy Dymond
John Simm
Whilst every other emerging indie band are slightly missing the boat on the nu-rave/electro-wave/synth-rock-tastica thing that has been ever so trendy of late, U.R. Penetrators are ripping up dancefloors across the UK with their irresistible, beat-laden sinister disco offerings.
U.R. Penetrators broken down equals Liz, the leggy, slightly kooky but ever magnetic female vocalist. Jimi, a rangy and somewhat mysterious hat-wearing figure who writes the songs as well as spits the lyrics. And Tommy 'Rat-a-tat-tat' Gun, the sometime bass player oft-time keyboardist who has managed to bash the keys so hard in the past that he actually bleeds. Lots of bands claim not to put on any airs or gimmicks; that their music is about honesty and exposing themselves -which, by it's very own concept can reek of high pretension. But U.R. Penetrators revel in their camp and wickedly playful stage presence, and aided by their infectious hooks, they put on a damn good show.
The colourful theatricality of a live U.R. Penetrators performance alone puts them apart from other budding bands. From the musical mobility of the band members playing different instruments throughout the set, to the mesmerising onstage chemistry of the two vocalists, the band is charged with a sexy innuendo that they throw around with a fuck-off attitude.
Tight, a bit dirty and just the way music you want to dance to should be; U.R. Penetrators are hot to trot and galloping towards big glittering things - and that doesn't simply mean a disco ball. CHRISTEL

AMELIA'S MAGAZINE
A mix-up in the line-up found sexy ‘sinister disco’ band UR Penetrators on stage next. They gave the crowd a bit of fuck off- punky-disco-pop. This fresh four piece surprised the crowd with their hard-edged and irresistibly danceable music, warming the rather damp crowd into a well approving, though at that point, semi-shy bop. Nothing shy about front woman Liz though, who was giving it kitted out in gold short shorts and cognac coloured men’s shoes.
LEEDS MUSIC SCENE (RU records compilation review)
U R Penetrators are far more arresting. Fab Gossip-style riffs, choppy percussion and frenetic boy / girl vocals make 'Got To Get It Right', for me, the album highlight. And it's danceable as you like; surely this lot can't be genuine Lancastrians... ?
CONTORT YOURSELF-MANCHESTER -sounds from the other city festival
Round the corner in THE BLACK LION there's a full-on electro party going on upstairs courtesy of UR PENETRATORS who are whipping up a frenzy with their punk-spiked guitars and high energy disco beats, Prince funk and squat-party dirt, as well as a frontwoman dressed in gold hotpants.

CD REVIEW WWW.VELVETGROOVES.COM
Style-U R Penetrators starts off with some bongo like drums and follows on with this Franz Ferdinand 'Do You Want To' type vibe - highly penetrating (excuse the pun!), yet highly effective! Whereas 'I Want You' takes us to the Disco with a smooth riff in the background. Finishing off with 'New York' - this is a DEFINITE hook! It's full of high adrenaline from that marching riffage and their determined vocals "I Wanna Live In New York! Yeah Oh Yeah!".... I'll come with you! IM COUNTING THE DAYS TILL THESE TAKE PEOPLE BY STORM...
